ndgit achieves certifications ISO 27001 and ISO 22301

The International Organization for Standardization (ISO), the world’s most recognized standard for Quality Management Systems (QMS), has issued two certificates to ndgit in recognition of the company’s achievements in the fields of information security management and business continuity management.

Robert Gridley, Chief Information Security Officer at ndgit, says: “In the past years ndgit has implemented a consistent and sustainable management system for information security management and business continuity management. Therefore, we are proud to have finally achieved the according ISO certifications ISO 27001 and ISO 22301.”

Oliver Dlugosch, CEO and co-founder of ndgit, adds: “With its API platform ndgit offers an SaaS operated middleware with which banks and larger corporates outsource their digital use cases like for example PSD2 compliance, digital lending and partner ecosystems according to BAIT. For this purpose, ndgit has a team with security, risk, compliance officer and comprehensive operations with maximum security in German data centers and bank-specific 24/7 service levels. Achieving the two ISO certifications is a documented recognition of our desire and ability to offer our customers, most of which are active in the financial industry, the highest level of security and business continuity.”

Security and continuity: the basis for open finance ecosystems

As leading provider of open finance ecosystem solutions, ndgit guarantees for state-of-the-art security infrastructure and secure, robust services. Gridley: “The certifications are an important milestone to us – but not the end of the story. We are committed to a culture of security and excellence. This means that we will continuously keep working on securing and improving information security management and business continuity management.”

Practically this means that ndgit is constantly striving to improve its products and services, as well as its internal processes. As part of the certification process, ndgit has engaged in a rigorous audit of business, management and support processes. “In the future, our certificates will make it a lot easier to discuss the fields of information security management and business continuity management with clients and prospects,” adds Dlugosch. “The external confirmation through the ISO proves that ndgit stands for highest standards and is well-prepared to act as highly secure backbone technology for financial ecosystems.”
